These images come from a live performance of a work that looks at HIV awareness in society.  The perfomers are an inspirational group of young artists, Reforma Movement Theatre, who take current social issues and use movement, acting and music to bring the issues to the attention of the community.

I have shot for them a couple of times and I love their energy, enthusiasm and commitment.  They literally throw themselves into their art and hit taboo subjects head on.

Photographing them is electric and exhausting - and bruising :-)  To take some of the images, you have to get into the performance area and elbows are sharp.

And if it looks like the images are taken from somewhere near the floor, it means the photographer was flat out on the ground - Magic :-)
